What this website collects, what it is used for, and how to have it removed. Plain English, no surprises.

Who we are
This website is run by Shelton Strategies LLC, Weatherford, Texas. “We” means Shelton Strategies LLC and its owner, Jeff Shelton.
What we collect
- When you send the contact form: your name, business, email, phone, website, the service and timeline you pick and your message. Along with it we save the page you sent it from, how you arrived (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link), your approximate location (country, region and city, worked out by our host from your connection) and your browser type.
- When you ask for your scorecard by email: your email address and your score.
- If you are a client using the portal: your account details, the requests and files you share with us, and your invoices and payment history.
- To stop spam: your IP address is held for up to one hour to limit how many forms one connection can send.
What we use it for
To reply to you, prepare a quote, and do the work you hire us for. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to a marketing email list unless you ask to be added.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions and portal data.
- SendLayer delivers the email that tells us a form came in.
- Telegram delivers a short notification of the same form to Jeff.
- Google Calendar handles bookings when you use the “Book a free 30-minute call” link, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Card payments for client work are handled by our payment processor. Card numbers are not entered on or stored by this website.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not run advertising pixels. To see which pages help people, it counts visits two ways, neither of which sets a cookie: our own counter records the page, how you arrived (search, a link or an ad), your approximate city from your connection, your device type, time on the page and how far you scrolled, plus clicks on the phone, email and booking links. It saves no IP address and keeps an anonymous random ID in your browser so a return visit counts as the same visitor. Cloudflare Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider, also counts page views and load speed without cookies.
If you choose “Allow” on the analytics bar, the site also loads Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and sends visit details to Google under Google’s privacy policy. Ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off. If you choose “No thanks”, Google Analytics never loads. Change your Google Analytics choice.
The site also keeps a few small items in your own browser: how you arrived (so it can travel with your form), your Calm Mode setting and your latest scorecard result. If you send a form, the anonymous ID goes with it so we can see which pages you read first. To stop the counter in your browser, open any page with ?notrack=1 added to the address. The client portal sets one sign-in cookie, which is required for the portal to work. If any of this changes, this page will be updated first.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and client records are kept until you ask us to delete them, so we can pick up the conversation where we left off. The spam-limit record expires after one hour. Visit counts are kept for up to two years.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will reply within 30 days. If you are a client, some records (such as invoices) may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how information is handled, we will update this page and the date at the top.
